Guillotine Blinds – are a specialty item that combines applications of both a slip blind and blind flange. Typically, no thinner than ½” thick, these slip blinds have threaded bolt-hole tabs where a stud can be run through and a nut fastened on the back side of the weld neck. This eliminates the usual need for a torqued down blind flange, allowing various applications and ease of installation for your spool piece. Whether it’s to maintain a slight nitrogen purge or simply eliminate contamination, these blinds are an extremely efficient and cost-effective option.  Our guillotine blinds are predominately fabricated on an as-needed basis, for purchase only; but we do have a small selection available in our rental stock – or can certainly discuss rental options to best suit your project requirements. Each of our specialty products can be custom fabricated to meet your needs regardless of the desired application. Emergency/same-day fabrication and delivery are our specialty!
